ASUH SCHOLARSHIP
Thank you for your interest in the ASUH Scholarship. This opportunity is available to all full-time, classified undergraduate students of UH Mānoa. This award was designed to assist students to financially offset the cost of tuition. (Awards may be subject to state and federal applicable taxes. This may also affect your financial aid status and cost of attendance.)
Funds can be awarded up to $1,000 per individual.
Note: Past and present ASUH Senators, Executive Officers, Student Court Members and ASUH student employees are not eligible to receive these awards. Students who have received this award are not eligible to apply again within the same academic school year.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Student seeking to apply for the ASUH Scholarship Award:

Must be a full-time, undergraduate, classified student at UH Mānoa

Must apply under one of three categories:

Academic Achievement (Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher)

High Financial Need
-
Unique Situation/Non-Traditional Student (Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher)

Must complete all required fields of the online application
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Student applying for the ASUH Scholarship Award:

Must upload a .docx of the essay that should be no more than 750 words, double-spaced, in 12 point Times New Roman font. Must follow Essay Guidelines.

Must submit a copy of their most recently completed semester's official or unofficial transcript to the ASUH Office...
We are now accepting unofficial and official transcripts.
If you are an incoming freshman, please send us your unofficial transcripts from STAR. We do not accept high school transcripts. -

APPLICATION PROCESSING
As of Spring 2014, all applications are electronic and all materials must be submitted by the deadline. Applications are processed by ASUH and reviewed by the Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UAA) Committee within two - four weeks of the submission deadline. Essays and Letter of Recommendations are to be reviewed by Faculty members. Students will be notified of the decision via email after the UAA Committee has made a set decision.
